We love camping here and spending our weekends here! The water is very clean, the campgrounds are clean and well maintained, the outhouses are cleaned almost daily if not daily. They bring the firewood right to your camp spot so you dont have to go searching for it. We will continue to go back year after year even for day trips.
We love Hanmore Lake and their staff! We end up out there about 6 weekends per year and are always welcomed with smiles from Jackie and staff. They are very helpful and are fantastic to deal with. We had to switch weekends and there were no issues to do so. Great campground and very well managed!
Great campground and staff! I've lived close for many many years and have been camping there every summer. It's looking the best it ever has! Clean water, clean sites and very attentive staff .
Very unorganized and terrible campground, people leave their garbage everywhere, lake is clean however you get harassed by the nosy camp managers and the wood is extremely overpriced . I notice the camp managers trying To make the reviews better which i find pathetic. Desperate to keep their terrible business going. Ive gone here and they DO NOT WELCOME NEWCOMERS! everybody who is there are the regulars. and if you try to camp their you will most likely be moved spots because the camp lady is unorganized and cant properly reserve a spot. Id recommend camping literally anywhere else because this place is just disgusting. Maybe go out on the lake for a day but this is a terrible place to set up camp. Just giving an honest review and I think the people on here giving it 5 stars are just the regulars. If you dont know the camp lady personally youll be treated like an outsider and disrespected. Especially if you are native . Ive noticed the camp patrol lady is racist .
The negative reviews are from a bunch of losers who came to this lake to party all night long at the expense of fellow campers and cabin owners. I heard their partying at 1:00 AM.They respect no one, including the environment. They are belligerent and rude. The campsite manager has a history of keeping the sites clean and well maintained. She does a great job and has for years. Unfortunately these 20 something gang who feel they are entitled and can make a disturbance until early morning and want special treatment need to grow up. We live here, do us all a favour and dont come back if you cant show some respect for us and management of this lake. As far as firewood goes, go out and price it elsewhere and see what it costs.
