Renovated rooms, good Wi-Fi, pleasantly surprised a nice hotel in a small town

Room was clean and comfortable. We offered to pay at check in but were told to pay at checkout. When we checked out we were told the charges had been put on our card and the receipt would be e-mailed to us. When we demanded to see a receipt we found we had been charged $135.00 per night. Other guests who attended the same wedding had been charged $89 $115 and $135. Rooms were identical. One guest had a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchenette paid less than we did. Not acceptable.
